Andina Barone has represented some of the entertainment industrys most prolific talent. She has developed and enhanced the careers of Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award winners. Her career highlights include representing Fortune 500 corporations, producers, directors, writers, actors, photographers, not-for-profit groups, municipalities, arts and entertainment organizations, fashion & luxury corporations and an uncategorizable legend.
Since 1997, Ms. Barone has been the sole proprietor of both Dina Barone & Company and Dina Barone Creative, in Los Angeles, California. Along with representing talent & literary clientele, she has managed all media for corporate CEOs, celebrities, large-scale planned projects and specials events such as the Daytime Emmy Awards, Peoples Choice Awards, and Emmy Award telecasts, Childrens Museum Los Angeles Celebrity Recording of the Wizard of Oz, the Retinoblastoma International campaign for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and the Revlon Run/Walk for Womens Breast Cancer Research. She has devoted much of her time to bridging the gap and promoting business between not-for-profit groups and privately held corporations, while consulting on the benefits of walk-able planned communities that give special attention to youth and elder care initiatives.
While earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, Ms. Barone was instrumental in the development of the Arts Management concentration for the Department of Theatre & Dance. She then went on to work for legendary Broadway producer Manny Azenberg at Iron Mountain Productions, where she assistant company managed the Broadway plays of Neil Simon, Jerome Robbins and Tom Stoppard. In 1991, she collaborated with event-producer Michael Bolanos to produce musical theatre world tours and benefit concerts at the Musicom Corporation, while serving as Director of Public Relations & Special Events for Bolanos Entertainment Drive (E! Drive) joint venture with CompuServe. She was then appointed Senior Feature Film & Television Talent Agent at Ambrosio-Mortimer & Associates /Beverly Hills in 1994, where she led the agency in new business signings, expertly negotiated talent deals and created career-making opportunities for writers & artists.
Born & raised in Lockport, New York, family matters prompted Ms. Barones return to the WNY area. She now divides her time between her own companies Dina Barone Creative Group (Public Relations & Media Management) and Pellicola Creative (Production & Creative Services Management). She is currently pursuing a Graduate degree in Creativity & Change Leadership, while completing a Masters Certificate program in Project Management. |
